Mohd HAFIZ Hanafiah is a Professor at the Faculty of Hotel & Tourism Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia.  He is currently the Deputy Rector of Industry, Community, Alumni & Entrepreneurship for Universiti Teknologi MARA Selangor Branch.

 

Born in Teluk Intan, Perak, Hafiz earned his Diploma in Investment Analysis and Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Economics from Universiti Teknologi MARA and Master in Economics at the Malaya University of Malaysia. He then completed his PhD in Hotel and Tourism Management from Universiti Teknologi MARAin 2016. He is a Certified Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA).

 

He lectures primarily on tourism and behavioural economics-related subjects, advising numerous postgraduate students and actively assisting in giving research and postgraduate development talks.

 

He is also an active Tourism Educators Association of Malaysia and the PATA Malaysia Chapter member.
